Privacy Policy

Summary

BütCep stores your financial data only on your device. Your data is not sent to any server; the developer cannot see or collect it.

What data is stored

The income, expense, card, loan and category information you enter is kept in an encrypted database on your device (SQLite, SQLCipher).

This data never leaves the app on its own; it only goes to a destination you choose (your own device share sheet) when you export or back up.

Backups and exports

Encrypted backups and Excel/PDF exports you create are sent, via your device share menu, to a destination you choose. These files are not sent to the developer.

Advertising (AdMob)

The app may show ads through Google AdMob in the future. AdMob may process limited data such as device identifiers to serve and measure ads.

In the EU and UK, consent is requested before ads (Google UMP). On iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission is requested; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The current version is published in the app and on our official page.
